Your photo

When you scan your face, your photo is processed transiently in memory and sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for a one-time analysis. We never store your photo. It is not written to our database, file storage, or logs, and it is discarded as soon as the analysis completes. Only the text results of the analysis are kept.

What we do store

• Your email address (so we can send you your results, and updates if you opted in)
• The text of your analysis results (skin type, observations, ingredient suggestions)
• Which recommended products you click
• Anonymous usage events and a hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address for rate limiting

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't use your photo to train AI models.
• We don't share your email with third parties.

Analytics

We use the Meta Pixel and first-party analytics to understand how people use the site and to measure our advertising. These see page and funnel events — never your photo or analysis results.

Deletion

Email hello@glowscan.example and we will delete your email address and analysis results.
